On-load tap changer

On load tap changer is a kind of voltage regulating device which is suitable for operation under excitation or load of transformer and used to change tap connection position of transformer winding. Its basic principle is to realize the switching between taps in the transformer winding without interrupting the load current, so as to change the turns of the winding, that is, the voltage ratio of the transformer, so as to realize the purpose of voltage regulation.
